Missionaries Birgit & Ove Petersen, are the founders and the apostles who started the Church in Løgstør. The Pentecostal Church is " Frikirken Løgstør! " Østergade 5 F. DK-9670. Løgstør. ( entrence through the gate ) ____________________________________________________________ : The Church was started in the year 2001 by Birgit and Ove Petersen together with a local brother Ejnar Kristensen, who had been praying for his hometown Løgstør for approxmately 10 years. The church is a self-governing local congregation, registrad legally under the laws of approved free churches in Denmark. We have fellowship with the evangelical /charismatic churches & and are a memberchurch of the Pencostal movement in Denmark and internationally. The aim and purpose of the church! : Is the fullfilment of the call for mission and soulwinning! We are all called to multiply ourselves, through the establishment of new house churches in each village and town in our country. : To be the disciples of Jesus Christ, followers of Him and his teaching, obeying his commandments as our Lord and King. : To be a part of the body of Christ, a fellowship who cares for each other socially and spiritually. : To give fellowship and love to all men, despite cultural and etnic differences and backgrounds. : To be involved in and being parttaker of outreaches to other people, in Denmark and to the whole world, through the vision of the Church given to Birgit & Ove Petersen as early as 1996. They were leaders in Norway at the TBBI Bible & Mission Institute. Here was the name "Give me my people!" born.

Declaration of the Faith in the Pentecostal Churches in Denmark. This declaration is not ment to be a "a creed or a collective confession" for the Pentecostal Movement, but a part of the foundation for untity between the leaders and preachers and churches. (1. Cor.1:10) This following simple formulation is not the complete inspiration and revelation of the full contents for all biblical truth , but it is just ment to be the "Basic faith teachings" which unites us in the fellowship of congregations. ____________________________________________________________________ 1) We believe that the Bible, the Old and the New testament, both are the unfailing word of God, complete guidence sufficient to keep us and correct us, when we practice our faith. 2. Pet.1:21; 2) We believe in the the unity in the one living God of truth, the eternal " I am " who is the life himself, and who have revealed himself as three persons- Father, Son and the Holy Spirit, included in the Holy Treenity. Cor. 3:14; 3) We believe in the birth of the Lord Jesus Chist by the Virgin, and in His life without sin, the ministry of miracels, in his substitutional death bringing reconciliation, ressurected in the his body, ascended in triumph to heaven, continously being the intercessor for us, his second coming before the millennium as our hope of glory given to all believers. The man, who was created pure and rightrous without sin, fell through disobidinece to the word, the protective advice of God. Genesis. 1:26-31; 3:1-7; Romans. 5:12-21; 5) We believe in the salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, who according the word died for our sins, was burried and rose again from death on the third day, and that we by his blood was delievered. Matt. 28:19; Acts. 10:47-48; 7) We believe that God wants to baptize in the Spirit with the signs, which follows, to speak in other languages( tounges) as the Spirit gives us to speak as a gift. Acts. 2:4; 10:44-46; 10:5; Isaiah. 8:19; 8) We believe in the gifts of the Father, Spiritual gifts and Gifts of Christ to be an active part of the church today. Romans. 12:3-8; 1. Cor. 12:4-11; Ephe. 4:7-16; 9) We believe in a Holy life in obidience to the order of God. 1. Pet. 1:14-16; Hebrews. 12:14; 1. Thes. 5:24; 1. John. 2:6; 10) We believe in delieverence from sickneses through divine healing which are given through reconciliation on the cross.
